Refund and Returns Policy

At Sweet Sensations, all of our desserts are custom-made and perishable, reflecting a significant commitment of time and ingredients from the moment your order is confirmed. To ensure fairness and clarity, please review our policy regarding deposits, cancellations, and refunds.

1. Deposit Policy (Non-Refundable)

All deposits are non-refundable upon receipt. Deposits secure your specific date, time slot, and our commitment to preparing your custom order. By submitting a deposit, you confirm that your order is officially “locked in.”

2. Wedding & Large Event Orders

Due to the size, complexity, and advance planning required for weddings and large events, the following terms apply:

  • Date Reservation: A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date on our calendar.
  • Order Confirmation: A 50% non-refundable deposit of the total order value is required when the final order is placed (design, flavor, and size finalized).
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full 14 days prior to the scheduled wedding date.
  • Cancellations: If an order is canceled at any time, all deposits are non-refundable. Any payments made beyond the 50% deposit will be addressed on a case-by-case basis, depending on the stage of preparation.

3. Custom Cakes, Cupcakes, Cookies & Smaller Orders

Custom orders that are not classified as wedding or large events require a variable deposit:

  • Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable deposit ranging from 25% to 50% of the total order value will be required to confirm your booking, depending on the complexity and size of the order.
  • Balance Payment: The remaining balance may be paid upon pickup at our Sharon, PA location.
  • Cancellations & Credit: Deposits are non-refundable. However, if you need to cancel a custom order, we can offer a credit equal to the deposit amount toward a future order, provided the cancellation is made at least 7 days in advance of the scheduled pickup date. This credit must be used within 3 months of the original cancellation date.

4. Daily & Ready-Made Items

  • Final Sales: All sales of daily items, ready-made desserts, or any items purchased that leave the bakery premises are final. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds once the items have been picked up.

5. Uncollected Orders

Orders not picked up on the scheduled date are non-refundable. This includes orders that have been paid in full or paid by deposit. We will attempt to contact you, but we cannot hold orders past the agreed-upon pickup time without prior arrangement.for questions related to refunds and returns.
